Not today you won't, not on my watch! You'll have a day of basking in the beauty of simply being you, foibles and all. (Isn't foibles a lovely word!) Love yourself enough, and everything else will fall into place.

I notice you're using the new Comment Luv download. How's it working out?

Well said Janice. Perfection is much like beauty in so much that it lies in the eye of the beholder.

Unfortunately a lot of us, myself included strive for perfection, looking so hard that we miss the truly perfect moments such as those you describe.

I think you can reach perfection; it just depends on how you define it. We all have our happiness defaults set far too high. Feeling perfectly at peace watching a sunset, being absorbed by the beauty of a flower or feeling at one with a bird - really feeling that we're all connected and here for a reason - there's perfection there. I think that we can work towards being as enlightened, loving and serene as possible as long as we always love ourselves enough exactly where we are now and give ouselves credit for every step we take towards filling our lives with love. For that's all there is, really, the journey and how much love we can share along the way.
